I moved in not too long ago and really like it so far. Ive live in a couple of different complexes and this is far better than some ive seen. yes there is normal apt noises from neighbors. Im in the townhome and can hear my neighbors from time to time but its not too bad. since ive lived here i got a notice from management about the break ins. I was a little nervous and uneasy. I went to the office and asked about the break ins and they said due to fairhousing they couldnt go into detail. That made me uncomfortable too. But being the person I am I wanted to research it so I didn't make a scene or a fool of myself. I went online and typed in crime and fairhousing and got this website http://homebuying.about.com/od/realestateagents/qt/AgentDut .... that does say they are not able to talk about crime. After reading it I then went to the city of sandy springs and got information about the whole area and realized other complexes had SHOOTINGs and break ins. The detective I spoke with said that the break ins we had were already closed and arrests had been made and since then the break ins have stopped. After getting the surroundings straight it made me feel alot better about it. I know Brinks and ADT both advertise reasonable rates and you can always have then install a security alarm if you feel necessary.
Well for the most part I have had a good experience. The grounds look nice, people are pretty friendly. My neighbor and I watch out for eachother when we aren't home. parking is pretty good. They have a guy come pick up the trash during the week. He's skipped us a couple of times but when I called the office it got taken care of.. for a while anyways... seen a couple of bugs outside but not in my apartment yet thankfully, and we have pest control if I do. Really the only thing left to say is its great for the money, yeah not perfect but pretty nice.
