I have lived at 710 Peachtree for almost a year. I rent a studio apartment and I'm alright with the space. The layout of the building is fine and the location is great! It is right next to MARTA, a small grocery, and food places as well as just down the street from larger grocery stores and a pharmecy. With all that, I haven't had a problem.

However, I've had issues with management since the move in. They originally told me I could move in on a Saturday. I requested the freight elevator and scheduled key transfer and everything. i paid all my fees and signed my lease. When my dad arrived ( I am a young female) to help, they did not have any keys ready for me and the carpets in the apartment had not been cleaned (they have not to this day). The maitenence man had to recaulk most of the bathtub walls as well as near and around the heating unit. The freight elevator had NOT been reserved as I had been told and all the staff left for the day before helping me. They basically told my dad to call back next week with any problems. They did, however, offer to move me into another unit since mine was not ready... The problem' It was covered in roaches. So, we opted for the unfinished unit.

The next week, both my father and I called numerous times. The manager called me back once and I've never heard from him again. When I spoke to another staff member, he was rude and said, "Well, we did offer you another unit"... I have simply refused to deal with them after that.

The apartments are roach infested and I cannot go a day without finding new ones. The exterminator came once at the beginning of my lease and I've never even seen one in the building since.

The water will occasionally come out of the faucets yellow, but fixes itself quickly. However, the ratio of hot to cold water is horrible. I called maitenence four times to fix it and was told, "Well, it isn't like you are paying for the water you use. Get used to it."

In regards to the heating and cooling, they only turn on one at a time and only for a certain portion of the year. It was freezing in my apartment because they refused to turn on the heat until mid-late october. When i asked management about this, they provided no explanation other than, "You don't get heat yet". The building is not centrally heated, so your floor will always be cold and above it will always be hot in the winter. Also, it does not adjust to temp. and will, if left on, stop heating eventually and just blow air.

I've only once had a problem with the concierge, but I haven't seen that person working there again, so I've never had any other issues. The call box, however, does not work on occasion. Also, the fire alarm has gone off numerous times with no explanation at all times of the day. You can barely, if at all, hear it in the apartments and there is no way of telling whether or not there is an emergency because no one does anything but wait for it to get turned off. If you ask, all that is said, "I don't know".

My rent includes my utilities with the exception of cable, phone, and internet. It does NOT include parking and they want to charge you another 75 dollars for it. Or, you can go to the Georgian Terrace for $70 a month... but the staff there is just as rude and hard to reach as those at 710 peachtree. You can park in surrounding parking lots, but the times posted and prices are unreliable.

Also, there are not washer/dryer connections in the units and you must also pay separately for the laundry room. It is not cheap.

I would NOT recommend this apartment complex.
