710 Peachtree Apartments
< | >
I lived at 710 Peachtree for about 5 years. The first 3 years wasn't bad; neighbors were friendly and usually quiet, no pest control problems and the staff was friendly and helpful. Then new management came in and all hell broke loose. Security and the staff didn't seem to care as it was always loud. There was a huge pest control problem, esp with roaches. By the time I left, I was calling maintenance and pest control almost daily for various reasons. The location is great, but thats about it. It has been almost 2 years since I moved out so maybe it has gotten better, but I doubt it from what I hear from current residents. All I got to say is stay away from this place.

I have been living at 710 for a little bit over a year. All I can say is the only highlights of living here is the location and utilities are included. But the prices? They want you to pay a huge amount of money for box size square footage. For example a basic studio here costs 740 without utilities. Utilities are based on ya square footage so its 90 dollars plus the market rate value. The lobby looks better then the apartments. The metal in the ceiling is coming through so its rusting through the paint. Roaches are all over the place no matter how much you clean and the apt collects dust easily. You would think after living here for over a yr when you renew your lease they are supposed to give you a break on your rent or lock in the current rate....WRONG. They are going up on the rent and its so many fixtures that need to be done. I would think proper management would re vamp the building and the issues before they go up on people's rent. The management has changed 3 times since I been here, I have to give 90 days notice if i choose to move which is the dumbest thing ever because what apt complex is going to hold a place for 90 days??? 710 is always raving about location and that the utilities are included...so WHAT! Location means nothing if you are living in a place where the so called conceirge's do nothing but drink on the job and flirt with the tenants. I have found other apts in the atlanta area that include the utilities and the location is in the buckhead/lenox area as well as midtown WITH the square footage being bigger. Its so many things wrong with this building I cant even imagine why they would go up on people's rent, even if you have lived here for a year and want to switch units with the same square footage...you have to be treated as a whole new tenant moving in...meaning another application fee, credit ran again, and another deposit if applicable. 710 in a nut shell is out of they damn mind. Management especially since they are new and KNOW the mess this building is in, should want to gain their tenants trust back BEFORE they decide to go up on the rent. Wouldn't you think its unfair to request more of somebody without fixing the issues you already have? 710 is not the place to live.....everyone here deserves better..
