THIS IS JUST ABOUT THE WHOLE RUNDOWN ON 710 PEACHTREE ST. IT S A LOT BUT IT WILL HELP. TRUST ME. This was my first apartment and I only moved in because I needed a place fast since school was about to start and it is Marta accessible. DO NOT MOVE INTO 710 PEACHTREE ST. UNDER ANY CONDITIONS!!! While trying to even get the apartment, they never answered the phone or returned calls. They told me a different story every time when trying to move in (pertaining to co-signers, and the amount of $ needed in my account.) That was the reason I ended up moving in at the last minute in the first place. They are SORRY about everything. They don t care. Sorry is just a word. I don t think they even know the definition. So, I read and signed the lease so I could hurry up and go pay my tuition. I go up to the apartment which is a small BOX which I could get past all that if my refrigerator and stove weren t where my bed should be. And why were there dozens upon dozens of dead COCKROACHES lying ALL over the floor and in the fridge and stove!' I asked them to move the fridge and stove and they did but didn t even clean up their dead pets. The toilet was stained horribly (which they made me pay for upon moving out this past summer). I cleaned as much as possible and the roaches seemed to just never leave. I never thought that I would have to keep a can of Raid as a part of my cleaning appliances. I sprayed so much that it started making ME dizzy. I wasn t going to step on those things with MY shoes. I even put roach traps all over my apartment which never worked. I would have to wash a simple fork in the cabinet all over again before even using it because they took over like they paid part of my rent. Why do they charge for cats and dogs to live there but you can have as many roaches as you desire for no extra charge' Charge those suckers! The hallways stink badly and there are 1 inch cracks under the doors so when people smoke it seeps right in like they are standing next to you. If I get cancer from second hand smoke I will sue 710 Peachtree for all they got. They can pay me with one check or money order too just like they make us pay because God knows what will crawl out with their dollar bills. The walls are thin so you can hear people having sex, arguing and having parties fairly regularly. I don t want to hear amateur porn down the hall One couple stayed there my entire time there and would argue several times a week. They stayed about 5 doors down from me and I could hear their arguments in detail on the regular. The guy must have been scared because really all I heard was the female and boy was she a firecracker. She would just yell at him all day and he would barely get a word in. A new guy moved in next door to me and decided he would bang something made of metal or steel into the wall at 10 pm mid-week. It went on for over 30 minutes until finally I just started yelling to let him know it was annoying and to stop. I WAS ON THE PHONE AND THE PERSON ON MY END COULD HEAR IT LOUD AND CLEAR. He continued until I banged a pot on his wall loudly to give him a dose of his own medicine. He had the nerve to show up at my door and say it will only take a few more minutes. The fitness center is crap. You might as well just go take a walk. They don t have ab machines so if you want rock hard abs just do push ups in your own apt-watch the roaches! There are like three machines in there and people who stop up their toilets in their apartment run into the fitness center and stay in those bathrooms for your entire work out as they do "the doo". My toilet always made weird noises by the way. I would have to close my bathroom door just to go to sleep. IT CAN BE DANGEROUS. I had a guy come off the elevator on my floor-I let him walk in front of me. I went very slowly because he already looked at another woman (held up the elevator and all) and watched her for at least 30 seconds walk down the hallway to see her go. No, he didn t know her. He gets about three doors in front of me. When I get to my door and start opening it with the key he decides to all of a sudden stop walking. He turns around quickly and starts to ask me something. Miss, miss. I just slammed the door in his face. Yea, he is lucky I missed . I wasn t going to end up on the news because of this guy. I have had guys try to talk to me while I was washing clothes in the laundry room in sweats, a messed up t-shirt and didn t even brush my teeth yet. I m sorry-I thought that I could just wash my clothes and then run back up and go get ready for my day. I didn t know that I would have middle-aged men all in my face asking if I was single. Is that where we meet people these days' While I m washing my dirty underwear' Real classy The construction workers working on the building would yell to try and talk to me until I was out of sight quite often. Cross-dressing men would parade around all corners of the buildings exterior in attire that shouldn t even be fit for the beach. They would be hopping in and out of other guy s cars all hours of the night. I ll go to Barnum and Baileys if I want to see a circus. No thanks. The laundry room is horrible. You have to put your money on a card and it doesn t take singles, let alone change so you must have a $10 bill on hand. I think, MAYBE it accepts $5 but not too sure. Bring $10 just incase you are crazy and are still planning on moving in after reading this far. I have always paid my rent on time or early and after the second month they sent me a notice under my door saying that I owe $250. It kept me up all night. I couldn t figure out how I owed them anything and when I went down there-oh their mistake. They accidentally sent me that. Right. It must be another one of their scams they do to young, new people or maybe even all people that move in. I met a guy there that got the same notice for the same amount of money owed slipped under his door about 7 months after I got mine. This was during his second month as well. Hmmm, all too coincidental. They sent it to him accidentally as well. They don t lose their scam notices but they lost the papers for a potential co-signer that I had. Then there is the usual the AC never works. If you want to go to h3ll just move into 710 Peachtree St. I had to move in during the horrid summer months with out a single breeze. I paid $90 a month for amenities that didn t work. My studio wasn t worth the $665 a month. Management never fixes anything and they are RUDE. The only nice lady there is Ethiopian and she got hired as I was already moving out. I m sorry. I still can t get over the ROACHES. At times I had company over and those uninvited guests just wanted to pop out and scurry all over my counter and floors. How embarrassing. My friends would make fun of me for the hood that I lived in. The worst part of it is they weren t joking so I couldn t quite share the laugh. I didn t know Midtown had a hood until I moved there. Embarrassing!!! Another thing that was embarrassing was me coming out the shower with no clothes on and the cleaning people, or whoever the heck they were came to my door knocking to come in. I didn t call for them so I figured I would change and go downstairs and figure it out at the leasing office since, by the way-my apartment didn t come with a peep hole like everyone else s. I ignored the knocks until oh surprise, they come in anyway. I went downstairs and spoke with management and they said that they can come in without any notices according to the contract (it s in there). You sign your life away in that contract, seriously. So, don t feel at home in that apartment. If you are getting out of the shower and you live by yourself you may have some other unexpected surprises other than the ROACHES. That same day by the way (yes, it s just a giant pit of h3ll living there) I find out that I had to send in a notice cancelling my lease 3 months ahead of time and I was already past 30 days of that date. I was going in to complain about the intrusion (the manager was SO RUDE-I think his name is Brian.) He is the obese, white guy for a lack of a better way to describe him. Quite ignorant, in a nutshell. I was planning on handling the lease cancellation that weekend but what a surprise. I ended up not getting about $600 of my deposit $ because their contract says you must give them a 90 day notice which is NOT common at all. You usually only have to give 30-60 days. I talked to lawyers and there was no winning this one for me. The moral of the story' You will get scammed, have uninvited guests of all sorts, lose your mind and pretty much be paying to get what you can for free living on the streets of Compton. Move in'! $hyt, that s your azz.

LOL!! I agree with everything you said. I have a month and a half left here, and I don't think I can make it for that long. I literally hate my neighbors, there so noisy. Preach on!!
