I just got home, and killed 4 roaches in a span of 10 minutes.

This is not an exaggeration. Since moving in 1 month ago, I have seen so many-- in my kitchen cabinets and drawers, the counter, the bathroom and floors and walls. They're also in the hall, the parking garage, you name it. This building has an infestation problem, and while the management undergoes "multi-million dollar rennovations for a new state of mind"....they really should just take care of the basics.

Everything I read here is true. The water is brown sometimes because of the old pipes, the person below me had a flood last week. I can also smell marijuana in the hall along with the dirty garbage, and you can hear everything your neighbor does: talking, having sex, fighting at 3 am....

The management gives you literally less than 24 hours notice if they are going to enter your apartment and do 'construction'. While they are fast to repsond if you have a maintenance request, they dont fix the problem. I had my lightbulb replaced the same day I called- great! Except it went out again that SAME night!'

The building is so old and there are so many layers of paint that my closet door wont close from the thick paint. I also hope you have a drill to hang anything on the walls since they're cement and a hammer doesnt work. (If you dare move in, that is).

There are hookers and creepy homeless lurkers on the corners at night too. If you are a woman please don't go out after dark, it's not a pretty or safe neighborhood by night.

I cant even access the sundeck or gym with the stupid key card they gave me and the management refuses to fix it, saying it's my fault that I'm doing it wrong. I got a package delivered and it took the management 2 people 3 times of looking and me insiting they look again before they found it.

The parking is rediculous...you pay extra for it and they don't even enforce that you get your assigned spot. If you park somewhere else, they'll threaten to tow you...even though they wont tow the car who parked in YOUR assigned spot!!

I moved here since I'm a student and it seemed perfect. I had read this same site and chose not to believe what I read, thinking it was just pissed off people who had something against the place. I should have believed it. Because now I'm stuck for another 12 months of living with cockroaches and loud neighbors.

The location really is great and the price is unbeatable...it seems so nice during the show...but if it seems to good to be true. IT IS!
