I have lived in 710 peachtree for 2 months now, I moved to atlanta from long island NY, many of the reviews I read are from a year or more over... Anyway I visited this building in lets say Feb 2009 where it was a quaint boutique type of building, where I had checked out a few apts, studio and one bedrooms.. All very similar to a ny apt space almost artsy with the pipes tht hang down, reminded me of a soho hotel I had stayed in. Going on I had a roommate so the two bedroom option was out bc this building has only 2 and they are rented... So I moved towards buckhead, tht lease fell through and I was ready to move again by myself, where I went back over to solace 710 peachtree, back in feb they said they were newly purchased by lane company so I checked it out and by august 2009 the whole lobby has been ripped out new offices much more modern even the friends who had come with me to check it out previously were amazed in how the building has changed! I live in a corner unit now where I have had pestiside come two times and I haven't seen a bug nor dead bug anywhere since might I add I have NEVER dealt with bugs so I would say if it was fixed or not, they are currently working on the elevators which leaves one of 3 out of order, but I caught a glimpse of the inside o f the new elevator and its worth the wait, so pretty, concierge is attentive and always around, my water has a tint of chlorine smell from time to time but I use brita on my faucet so it doesn't affect me,.... Anytime I have needed a lightbulb changed or anything worked on it has been done within 24 hrs and they send an email to confirm it, I haven't heard any of my neighbors so far, so for new ownership and the new gym down stairs I can't complain much, and I can say I'm a bit used to being spoiled, you get what you pay for if you want a studio, it will be a big long box with a closet the size of a room, so check out a few floor plans before you move in, oh and my ac and heat and appliances all work! So for previous ratings, most people who write them are angry and need to vent and feel they are warning you but things have changed over here!
