Where do I start....' The parking is extremely poor. There are more apartments and people in those apartments then there are parking space even without tenants having guest. The assigned parking for tenants and visitor is disregarded and not withheld. I am extremely tired of coming home after work (at a decent hour) only to find that there are no spaces in front of my building and yet again, I spend another evening trekking my belongings across the poor parking lot.
As for safety, there is none. I pay more money to live in a gated complex only to find that 25 days out of the month, the gate is either broken or not in service. This welcomes all kinds of riff raff into my home and puts my life and my belongings at risk. Why do I need that big, bulky gate key if I never use it''!! I also receive notices that the crime within the complex has increased and I should be very leery when walking to and from my car. This does not comfort me as a young, single woman that must walk long distances, in the dark, to get to my apartment.
Maintenance is unbelievable. There is no set scheduling that is upheld and it then takes multiple personnel (ignorant to solving the issues at hand although labeled "professionals") and a long period of time and appointments to solve the issue.
The gym area is a joke! It is out of dated and not kept clean. It smells and disinfectant is apparently not something that they would like to engage in. Overall I am very disappointed at the picture that was painted for me at the time when I signed my lease. Although it is located nicely, you deal with construction in your backyard and a poor neighborhood across the street. Although the new buildings under construction are bringing new opportunities to the area and also will soon eliminate the poor neighborhood across the street, it is still an annoyance when there is constant construction going on during the evening hours and the weekends. I would/will not recommend this complex to anyone and will be moving out as soon as my lease is up.
