I lived at 771 Lindbergh for a little over a year and didn't have most of the problems that people have mentioned on this site. I even lived in the 7000 building that a couple of people have mentioned to avoid. The 7000 building has it's own parking lot in the back so I've never had issues with finding a parking space nor did I ever feel unsafe in the lot. However, the building is older than the other buildings in the complex. Also in the back is a large yard area which was perfect for my dog. Other people from the complex had dogs too so it was like a little dog park. Surprisingly, most everyone picked up after their dogs!
Maintenance was never an issue. Almost all my maintenance requests were handled right away. The maintenance guy is super friendly and I believe he lived in the complex too. Never had problems with any of the other staff either, always very nice and friendly.
The complex had some break-ins while I was there (we received a notification when one occurred) but each apartment had an alarm which I set religiously. I live in one of the new apartments now in the Lindbergh area and my car got broken into the first weekend I moved in. The area is full of car break-ins irregardless of which apartment you live in.
There is a pretty broad range of people that live there - there are families, young professionals, and college students. It can get pretty loud in the neighborhood during the weekends. Also, I regularly saw children playing in the back yard area during the day which was nice.
The apartment's location is pretty ideal. Very close to 400 and I-85. I took I-85 N to go to work and Lindbergh going towards Cheshire Bridge can get backed up during rush hour but never was a big problem. I took the HOV entrance to I-85 North once and I got a ticket the first time I took it. I don't recommend it! Marta is close but I personally wouldn't call it a comfortable walking distance to do everyday.
Overall, I really loved my experience at 771 Lindbergh. The location was very convenient to everything and the staff was great.

I agree. Great place. I live across from the pool. I feel bad for 771 since it's a great place to live.
