There are a lot of nice residences around the 400/85 connection. We previously lived in Uptown square and have visited them all more or less in our two apartment searches over the last 3 years. 771 Lindbergh was a great choice. Luther helped us find a great apartment at a very reasonable price. Sure it isn't as sparkly new as some of the others, but based on our experience at Uptown, new doesn't stay new if management isn't committed to keeping it nice. We learned the hard way that management turnover is important and says a lot about the complex commitment to it's staff and the staffs commitment to running a solid complex. No place is perfect, parking could be better but really who can't handle not parking RIGHT in front of their building every once in awhile. Atmosphere is MUCH quieter than a lot of other places around. The demographics are a tad older will few college kids partying until all hours of the night and more business professionals who display the courtesy you'd hope for when living in an apartment setting. Again, I can't say enough about the upkeep and help management plays. We've had a few minor repairs that were fulfilled next day instead of the week we waited for at Uptown. The immediate response to problems and questions are not taken for granted here. Don't get sucked in by the NEW and go for a place that's been here and treats their tenants right.
