I've moved 7 times in the last 6 years. All apartment complexes. I've stayed at 771 Lindbergh for 1 year now and I can honestly say this ranks far and above any of the others. I was able to get a 1bedroom special and get a great rate for my apartment, 100-250 less than other apartment complexes in the Lindbergh area are charging. The management and maintenance crew are phenomenal! After being use to being treated like crap from past apt complex management, 771 Lindbergh was a fresh breath of air. Nicole, Luther, and Julie have always been very friendly and accommodating. If you have a problem, they never make any excuses and try to fix the problem immediately! I have probably put in 5 maintenance requests and each time it was fixed the next day and note was left telling me exactly what was fixed. James and Phil the maintenance guys are extremely nice and understanding. I had a problem with my water bill being extremely high due to some type of meter reading problem - and while it took a bit of time for the problem to verified by the water company, I was credited back for my water overages with many apologies. As for some of the reviews about parking, I'm really stunned. I almost never have any problem getting an extremely close spot to my apartment in the 4000 building. The Lindbergh Marta Train station is also a 10 minute walk and I never feel unsafe. Sure there is a Mexican apartment complex down the street that looks like a fish out of water for the area now, but I haven't seen ANY problem with crime or unsavory characters. They are simply good lower income family people trying to live their life as well, I would NOT classify that neighborhood as the 'ghetto' like I saw another reviewer did. Somebody just spent probably 100 million putting up brand new apartment complexes right across from it - so I think it's fair to say the Lindbergh location is no longer 'up and coming', it has arrived... Alas for me, I finally took the plunge and bought a house otherwise I would be staying put... The reviews seem mixed on here, but I barely decided to post this review - the happy people are more lazy :) If you like the location - don't pass up a visit to 771 Lindbergh, you might miss out on some great savings and a nice place (btw this place is less than 10 years old - it's still a fairly new place).
