After two years here, I'm ready to get out

I previously wrote a raving review of this apt complex, primarily because my first two years here went without a hitch. The leasing office folks WERE always great about any problems or concerns I had and were very professional.
However in the past 6 months I've seen the management and the complex itself go downhill. Crime is everywhere, so I won't go into detail about that aspect. But here are a list of problems I've had:
A) In early March I went to them to do an apt transfer. The guy I talked to showed me an apt, and the next day I signed the lease for it. Two days later he calls me to tell me the apt I signed for was leased out the day before I went. Thanks for letting me know...
B) On March 19th I went back to them to find another apt. Same guy told me about another apt that was available. Again, I signed the lease and he gave me the move-in date (May 25th), welcome letter etc. I go back in early May to see how long I can keep the keys to do the apt transfer, only to find out that the guy never put my transfer into the system and I have no apt. If I didn't go in for that one question, I would have packed all my stuff, been ready to move and wouldn't have had anywhere to move to.
C) The mailbox key to my current apt was never made before I moved in. I transferred all my mail to the new box, and a week later they still didn't have the key. Even the key they keep at the office didn't work on the box. This problem took 2 weeks to fix after the same guy claimed it would be done within 2 days.
D) The new apt I finally ended up with has multiple cracks in the wall and nothing has been done about it thus far (after two months of being here).
These are just 4 issues out of many. Bottom line: if you want your signed lease and maintenance requests lost or ignored, sign with this place. I would recommend this place as long as you deal with the professional folks in the leasing office (who don't seem to stay for very long for some reason...)

Worry more about the apartment complex and its responsibilities to the residents who lease apartments. Atlanta's crime statistics are something AMLI is aware of and should be ready for!

I toured it today. They've installed security cameras and have some sort of security detail in golf carts. I'm considering it because I'm familiar with the area. However, these reviews do make me want to look into it further.

I agree with the comments of the first writer!!! In the two years I have been here the management has declined, and they seem to respond more to noise complaints than to the things that should generally be the major issues of an apartment manger. I have complied with each thing they have asked of me as a resident, yet I have gotten no response from them outside of a weekly or should I say daily letter complaining about my noise level from running a DISHWASHER at 4 in the aftenoon from the woman beneath me. I am so ready to terminate my lease and would not reccomend this incompotent staff to my worst enemy. There is not enough movie nights and $1 pizza in the world to keep me here!
