One of the worst apartment complexes I've lived in.

For an apartment complex to function properly, it needs to take care of its tenants. AMLI at North Briarcliff didn't receive this information. The management is out for only itself and does not care about its tenants, as proved by their hardly ever being in the office when you need them and their inflexibility with requests by tenants.

Two people were shot during a drug deal in our parking garage, and a rapist was on the loose attacking morning joggers last time I checked. The complex recently had to install security cameras because of the amount of crime in the area. The dog areas were always out of bags, so there's dog poo everywhere.

Our neighbors were loud, throwing loud parties, having raucous "relations" at all hours, and there were cases of domestic abuse in the surrounding apartments.

When were ppl short in the parking garage? When was there a rapist attacking morning joggers on this property? If this occurred, why did the office not send out a notice like they always do? What building do you live in? My building is always quiet and peaceful. I don't walk around the property very much, so I cannot comment on dog poo, but I have never seen any. I am really confused about the negative posts for this property...I really am.

Hey there. The apartment complex sent out notices in both instances. The jogger was around early April, I think, and the parking garage shooting was in the garage attached to building 6 a few months earlier--I can't remember the exact date. The dog poo is near the buildings that allow dogs, so near building 8's pool and in common areas near those buildings.

I lived in the same building when that happened. I can say it is scary to know that those two people got shot in my parking garage not even 500 feet from my door to my apartment. There was so much crime in my parking deck. A motorcycle even got stolen. I will NEVER live in this apartment complex again or any other AMLI for that matter. They take forever to complete a service request when they promise a 48hrs response or rent back. The managers never call you back when you need to talk to them, poor customer service. I waited 2 weeks for a service request. The gate for the community is broken half the time.
