Small Quarters

Bedrooms are pretty small compared to most apartments in the metro area, but the closets and bathrooms are oversized. Interior hallways have nearly 7,604 twists and turns in them and could have been normalized to make more space in our crackerbox apartments.
Bifold doors are a pain, and feel the need to break right when I'm about to have people over. Washer and dryer isn't provided, and you must either buy one or rent from Alexan's "preferred" dealer. They probably get a kick back.
The location is awesome and I can walk to a lot of things including a small Publix and Washington Mutual.
Office staff haven't been the most responsive, but on the flip side maintenance (although a little smelly) gets the job done right.
My guests have to park in a Fort Knox garage across the street, yet cars STILL get windows smashed. I have to go and get my guests and walk them over here. Painful and inconvenient.
My water heater must hold three cups of water, because it isn't hot at all. If I wash a load of clothes and then want to shower, it is impossible.
As a single female, I chose this location because of the controlled access. But I do not feel safe a lot, the area is run down and crawling with homeless and other denizens.
Alexan's motto is "Urbane living in midtown" I don't think they know what urbane means.
