the alexan terrace isn't the best for your money - AT ALL

the kitchen is so pitiful, the appliances appeared ok when i glanced at them in the model. the models are designed to fool people like me. the dishwasher is very cheap, and cleans poorly, the detergent door doesn't open half the time resulting in me having to rewash and thus - waste time, money, and water.

i live on the second floor, and the garbage is routinely backed up from the first floor. it stinks and flies are swarming all over. this place doesn't have enough garbage capacity apparently. when my guests come in through the visitor parking deck, theyre greeted with the stinking garbage smell, since the green boxes are in the visitor parking deck.

my windows leak, and maintenance's solution is to caulk caulk caulk caulk. they never fix the problem, they just caulk caulk caulk. maintenance isnt very competent.

the women in the office (even though there is one guy, they're all women) are terrible and slow. they constantly make up stories and other assorted BS to make residents leave the office. they are typically very upset when i have to go in the office and report all the maintenance issues with my apartment.

the resident functions are all catered to the --- alcoholics that live here. we don't go.

from every point in my apartment, i can hear the late night commotion, laughter, and boisterous conversation in the hallway. people out on their balconies until late night hours, smoking marijuana and drinking (do these people have jobs'), as well as the --- clubbers who roll in really late on saturday nights making all kinds of noise. i can hear every toilet flush upstairs, as well as their late night activities, which sometimes last for 2 hours. the traffic noise from outside is awful, its almost as though i have all my windows open. poorly insulated.

parking has been a huge problem, but it has gotten better since so many people have moved out.

i will follow them in 7 months.
