Roaches motel

I am a current resident. Dec 2022. I have been here since April . I have has roaches since July. No resolution I get the run around with no resolution. See attached photos of roaches. Include pictures from the hall way.

    Massive Roach Infestation

Although we cannot guarantee safety or security, we try our very best to discourage crime from occurring at our community. We do have cameras and share the footage with police and residents whenever it can be helpful to an investigation. Furthermore, we are always looking for opportunities to improve our community and I am happy to share that a new package solution is currently under construction, and an email to all residents will go out when it is available to use. We are disappointed to hear you do not feel we genuinely care for our residents, as this couldn’t be further from the truth and our team would be happy to discuss our security measures with your fully. We apologize for the incidences you’ve experienced of pet owners shirking their responsibility, and not picking up after their pets. I want to assure you that we take this seriously as well, and in the instance you mentioned we were able to identify the individual responsible and reached out to them personally to address this issue. While we do send out community-wide reminders, we prefer to address lease violations on a case-by-case basis when possible. We agree that everyone should have the opportunity to find a place to call home regardless of disability, race, religion, color, sex, handicap, familial status or national origin. We take providing a comfortable environment seriously and regret that you have had an unpleasant experience. Due to COVID-19, our leasing office is not open to the public. We are only offering virtual Zoom tours, self-guided tours or online 3D tours. According to our records, you requested an appointment at 1:30 PM, but did not arrive until 3 PM. We had another tour booked at that time, and due to social distancing policies, we could not allow you to tour the apartment home at that time. Our team attempted to speak with you ahead of your scheduled tour time, but could not get ahold of you.                                       Hello - We truly apologize for compounding issues you've endured from the critical electrical failure at our community. I can assure you that our primary concern is the well-being of our residents, and this is not the level of service we aim to provide. Our team has been working diligently on a permanent solution. As you know, our community experienced a critical electrical issue in August. Although we ordered a large generator to power the building it has failed on multiple occasions and we agree that this is not acceptable. We are working with the provider of the generator and given this latest outage, they have agreed to deliver a new generator for the building. We believe this will ensure no additional outages until the permanent breaker can be installed. We understand your frustration, and will be sending an email to all residents with an update today.                                         Hello Justiced96 - We are sincerely sorry that this has been your experience at our community! I can assure you this is not the level of service we aim to provide, and our team has been working diligently on a permanent solution. You are correct - we had an electrical issue in August that was far more serious than we originally estimated. Although we ordered a large generator to power the building it has failed on multiple occasions and we agree that this is not acceptable. We are working with the provider of the generator to ensure that this will not happen again. Due to the severity of damage to our main breaker, we had to order an entirely new custom breaker to power the community. The process to get this type of breaker is lengthy, but I want to assure you that it is on its way and will be installed as soon as possible. Our team will send an update to residents with a complete timeline for completion tomorrow via email. We are disappointed to see that you want to leave our community. Alexander on Ponce has open parking with the exception of a couple of spots reserved for those who wish to have preferred parking. 2. The Resident Lounge was completed in April- 1 month after you moved in. AOP invited ALL community members to the Grand Opening that we hosted. Letters, emails, flyers, and Facebook notifications were sent. 3. In review of your welcome letter, the amenity fee of $50 is noted. The amenity fee covers your parking, pest control, and trash. Most communities in midtown charge $50 for the first vehicle, $3 pest control, and up to $25 for trash. 4. While more and more communities are moving away from accepting packages, we provide our resident with the convenience of a package locker system. There is a one-time fee of $25. This service is completely optional. Residents can make arrangements with package delivery services to retrieve their packages or to attempt redelivery. 5. Utilities are not split and are submetered. Our community members ONLY pay for utilities that they use. Please refer to your monthly invoice for a breakdown of usage. 6. When a community member makes changes/adds services, the lease must reflect these changes. Several attempts were made in good faith over the past several months. 7. Midtown rents with downtown skyline views for 2 bedroom , 2 bathroom apts are renting for $2-$3 per sq ft. Most find our community to be a value for its premium location, high finishes, and amenities. 8. In July, we accepted your early termination. Due to its superlative finishes and views, your apartment was quickly rented. Within a week of the future community member's move-in, you withdrew your notice. Despite the inconvenience to the future resident, we were pleased that you choose to continue to make us your home. 9. Use of illegal substances is not tolerated at any of our communities.
