I lived at Archstone Vinings during the summer of 2003. I agree with most of the other reviews. The only negative aspect about living here was the train...it woke me up at 3am every morning for a while, but i did get used to it and eventually slept through it. This is a very pet friendly community, i had an apartment closest to Paces Ferry, there is a huge open field to play with your dog and if you walk to the back of the community there is an area next to the lake to take him out as well. I actually looked forward to taking him for a walk in the mornings because it is very pretty by the lake. They are in the process of remodeling the interior of the apartments so i had all new appliances and they agreed to put in new carpet the day i moved in!!! The office staff was awesome!! Do not be fooled by the plain exterior of the buildings, the interior makes up for it. I have lived in atleast 8 different apartments in Atlanta/Marietta/Kennesaw since 1998 and by far this was the best one! (Including Post Spring, which was new when i moved in, but the rent was way too high and the office staff very snooty, what can i say, its POST). YOU WILL NOT BEAT THIS DEAL IN VININGS!!! There is no problem with crime or drugs, I do disagree with that review. I paid 745 for a 2bed/2bath, that is incredible. I am going to move to Kennesaw in January and I am only looking at one property, Cameron, why' because it is managed by Archstone!! I would be happy to answer any questions on this property'
