I have lived at Ansley Forest since September 2005. My a/c unit in my first apartment would freeze constantly, the toilet started gurgling and got suds from someone's washer all over the bathroom and I smelled gas in my apartment, but was told twice that we did not have a leak. I had to call the gas company myself since the maintenance man was told by the property manager that calling the gas company costs money. IT IS FREE FOR THE GAS COMPANY TO COME OUT! We did indeed have a gas leak and thank god we don't smoke. All I got was a sorry from the property manager.
So for some reason I decided to renew my lease and move to a townhome. I moved in Memorial Day weekend and since then I have had multiple calls in to the office. The upstairs is very hot in comparision to the downstairs. The office did install my ceiling fan. They also recharged the a/c unit and changed out the filter, but those are things that should have been done before I moved in. Now my current issue is the leaking tub in the upstairs bathroom. It is obvious that this has been an issue in the past because some of the tile has been replaced and the ceiling in the kitchen has been repaired as well. They have been out twice to caulk the tub and both times it has cracked again. Water seeps through there during my shower and leaks to the floor thus making the celing in the kitchen a bit more moist each time and through the base of the tub onto the bathroom floor. I went into the office on Friday (6/16/06) and put in another ticket and still no one has come to rectify the issue. I called today and spoke with a gentleman at the office and discussed my frustration on how this is being handled. I asked when does it come to a point where a professional is called out to repair it' Hopefully the property manager will make a good decision and call out a professional bathroom repair man. This is nothing against the maintenance guys because this is just above what they should have to handle. They have always been great at repairing other things. I am hoping that this repair will be thorough and that I can repost an update letting you all know that this was handled efficiently finally.

UPDATE.... They did repair the tub correctly, finally. They cut a hole in the wall from the office and braced the tub. Since then I have not had any more issues with the tub leaking. Thank goodness!
