These apartments could be much better. I remember when I moved in, there was no washers and dryers in the laundry facility and no computers in the business center. Then, right before Lane Company audited the property, we received one computer in the business center and washers and dryers appeared in the laundry room. The business center is designed for three computers but recently I noticed that there were two of them now. I think the other computer is in the backroom where the leasing office copy/fax machine is located. I recently moved out and it was the best moves I could have made. I know that it is a new property in an urban area, but that is not an excuse. A renter would expect everything to be near perfect since it is a new urban property. I have came to many conclusions on why this property is having some problems. Lane company owns this property but I think they are putting more attention on there properties in Atlantic Station, which are interior replicas of Auburn Glenn yet nicer. I have notice that many have said that people from Grady Homes is the reason for the downfall. I would have to disagree!! The downfall comes from not maintaining the property and not having management that truly cares. I also think that the property would be different if all of the office staff lived in the complex because they would make the extra effort to make sure that this property is top notch. If you decide to live here, make sure you get an apartment with a view of the city rather than the side facing boulevard, because it is horrible to look out of your window and see crack heads just walking in the middle of the night. Auburn GLenn has served its purpose and its now time to move on to better things.
