It is not just management that is negligent of the residents because since living here we have had several management companies the current one being the third or fourth since I lived here, I can not keep up.

I would say the owners are to blame as well as management.

The Owners are the real slum lords who do not care about the residents occupying their property, they just care about the bottom line.

You get the feeling here from management that since the owners do not care they do not have to care and it is sad since the Apartment building is in a up and coming community and is located in a great central location.

An when you the see the outside of the building or the parts they show you during the tour before you move in you thin it is a great community but when you move in it all changes; ceilings, windows and doors leak, security doors stay broken, cars get broken into, maintenance is slow, the walls are very thin and you hear everything (sometimes you get blamed for noise that is not even coming from your apartment) elevators smell like pee, the pool stays a green cloudy color, people use the building to walk through, and the leasing office staff is sometimes rude they pick and choose who they are nice to, there is trash in the halls and rules are lax there are not supposed to be any dogs in the building however there are several(so if you are afraid of dogs like I am and move here thinking there are none you may run across a dog or two or three), the water bill is almost as high as living in a house and the owners, nor management care so neither do most of the residents.

You may ask why I stayed so long, because the rent was great for the location and I was trying to get back on my feet but my time is done and I am so happy to be leaving.
