Nice apartment but discriminating management From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 9/30/2007 Years at this apartment: 2007 - 2007 1 response   When we first moved in we simply loved Aventine. The Apartments are great and good price, the location is marvelous and close to my work. We moved from NY a very diverse city with people from every culture and race and Aventine was perfect for us for the urban living. We were comfortable seeing a diverse staff in the office and they were warm and welcoming. But we were shocked when we found that the Assistant managers of Aventine discriminate among the residents based on race. She is definitely very nice and sugar coated when the resident is Caucasian or white and extremely cold and hard when the resident is ------- American, Hispanic or Asian. We came to the office with my next door neighbor (He is white male 25-27) and we both had same issue. But the assistant manager gave us two different treatments. We do not know if she does the same thing with the office staffs too but in several other occasions we saw her discriminating based on race. We are sure Grey Star management does not know about her actions and what surprises us that no one complained it yet.
