Lousy, noisy, and nothing got fixed

Years at this apartment: 1997 - 2002
 
When the original owners had it, it was a palace. Then Equity Residential bought it and everything went downhill. Rents went up 20%, things went unrepaired, the property was dirty, and the noise was so excessive that we could not sleep at night.

It was like living in a college fraternity at some party university.
