I lived here with two of my buddies for about a year and a half. The place was loud, the pool crowded, and the racquetball courts always filled, but for a few dudes right out of school, this is what we wanted. If you want peace and quiet, there are a few other complexes on the same street that provide this kind of environment.
Only a few problems we ran into:
1) the pool is like Panama City on weekends. Meatsuit dudes (most of whom don't live here) come here on pilgrimidges in the same way Arabs go to Mecca -- only mor often. It is nice on weekday evenings when nobody is around, but don't try to go down at noon after a late night in Buckhead and expect to find even concrete to lay on. Just doesn't happen.
2) Maintenance wasn't as timely as I'd hoped they'd be, but truly, this was never too much of an issue.
3) Parking can be difficult, unless you live in the back few buildings. There just isn't much space on the sides if you come home later in the evening.
4) The apartment we picked was the 2 bedroom "study". Was a bit too small for us, but that was our own fault.
I lived in 4 apartments in Atlanta, and this was by far the best for it's class that we found.
