I do not even live in this complex but was wanting to see how easy it is to post here. I could be a rep for a complex on the other side of the road trying to get business for all that matters. This website needs to have some kind of requirement to make a posting. ---- THIS WEB SITE AND THE MISINFORMATION YOU GET OFF OF IT. IF YOU REALLY WANT TO KNOW WHAT KIND OF COMPLEX IT IS YOU ARE MOVING INTO JUST GO TO THE PLACE AND LOOK AROUND.

Going to a complex and 'looking around' does NOT give you any idea what it's like to live there. I did that twice with a complex I was moving into several years ago. It seemed nice and quiet from the parking lot. Once I was in there, I found out all the flaws of the apartment building, the incompetency of the maintenance team, the turn-over of management and the ridiculous noise level of the disrespectful tenants and their unsupervised children in the parking lots and breezeways. That complex, by the way, has one of the longest posting lists here and they are all NEGATIVE and ACCURATE. Sure, anyone can post here, but for the most part, what's posted is true of too many apartments these days. Anyone can work in the office, qualified or not. Renters are treated as if they're second-class citizens. Believe what you read here. (Accept, of course, they 1-in-40 review that the place is 'great'. That's most likely an employee.) |

I have lived at LG for almost one year now. I moved here from Miami, FL without ever seeing the place in person. I was even more pleased when I saw it for the first time. The apartments are 15 years old (and it shows) the cabinets and some appliances are worn and yucky looking. I can't use the storage under the sink in the master bedroom because a leak has warped it. They simply painted over the water marks instead of replacing it and didn't fix it too well as it exploded one morning while I was brushing my teeth. Also the seal on the window is weak as the cold air comes through with no problem. It took almost 3 months to get our application approved because of the new office staff and they tried to change the rate 3 times during the process. In the end we (my roommate and I) were more than happy with the rate we got. Our rent did go up $100 for the next year. We loved the peace and quiet we experienced and our neighbors were pretty much respectful and helpful at first. Over the course of a year however; I have noticed that it seems the criteria for renting may have gone down a bit. Now the complex looks trashy, there kids running around day and night literally. They act as though they don't even see your car coming. Some people were fixing cars in the covered parking areas leaving glass all over the place. For months at least 3 spaces could not be parked in because management would lie about cleaning it up. I have some new neighbors and they are noisy and the old ones were so filthy that they had MY place smelling like someONE had died in there. Thank heavens they moved. I have had my issues with maintenance not fixing things as well. I don't know if it is because they didn't know how to or if they just lied about the work they did. I will say that they came out promptly. I have become displeased with some of the new tenants because it seems as though they don't value their environment. They are happy using parking garages as their personal chop shops cpmplete with booze and loud mariachi band music. Most of this did take place during the management change. I stopped using the ammenities when I learned (from a couple of guys who appeared to be transients off the street) that someone had smeared feces all over the gym and sauna area. I don't know how true that is but it is what I heard. The new management did promise us a courtesy officer in Jan of '07 but has not delivered yet. However; they are improving the broken gate situation and are trying to address the parking issues. This is good because people do frequently walk off the street and into the complex as well as the ammenities area (an area that they issued keys for access at the lease signing but the doors are always unlocked). I even worked with a girl who lived down the street and told me that her and her husband sneak in to swim all the time and sometimes they even bring friends! Sounds safe doesn't it? I have had no other issues with my complex but I won't say that the negative postings aren't true because some of them clearly are. I just want to say that my experience was not so bad as of yet and I'm just hoping this new management will keep it that way.
