My new car... now trashed from living here!

I have only lived here for about 9 months and can't wait to get out!
My car was broken into 1 month after I moved in, the faulty gate has hit it twice and just this week it was keyed. There are many shady characters walking around, you can hear conversations in the next door apartment, the mosquitos are in swarms, and it's simply not safe. The leasing office does nothing to help, instead I'm told that I can break my lease if I want to and get out!

This Resident was allowed to break her lease with no penalites. There are signs clearly posted at the entrance and exits gates that the Property is not responsible for damage done to vehicles. Yes, it is unforntuate that this Resident's car was broken into but no Apartment Community anywhere can insure a Resident's safety. To pass judgment on "shady" people walking around in my opinion is wrong. Everyone qualifies the same to live at this property, it is up to the Residents to report suspecious persons to the Police Department.
