I lived at this property from 2000 through mid-2003 and when I first rented, the property was well maintained, the management staff was friendly and the rent, although high for being in Sandy Springs and not "North Buckhead" as they touted it was a little justifiable.

After numerous management changes and allowing local colleges to rent units for their students, the property went downhill in a matter of a few months. When I moved in, rent was about $900/mo for a 2 bdm and by the time I left, they tried to keep me $700/mo because they knew how bad it had gotten. I had to call the police at least 10 times about the noise next door and the kids next door liked to hang out outside my ground floor window at 2-4 AM and talk, yell, play basketball, etc.

I had poorly wired circuits and my apartment flooded twice in two different locations. Add to it the roaches and unsavory characters hanging out at all hours and it's definitely gone downhill. The gates were operational for about 4 total months of my entire 3 plus years living there.

A few positives:
- Great location in terms of being close to everything. 2 miles from 285, 2 miles from the heart of Buckhead, opposite traffic nearly every direction and close to Chastain Park.

- Cheap...and getting cheaper. If you could get an end unit in the buildings at the bottom of the hill, you might be in decent shape. Top of the hill, forget about it.

Would I rent here again' Probably not. I had an issue with the management company upon departure that further tainted my experience but I had been renting from that company since 1997. If you choose to move here, especially the units on the hill even after you've read all these reviews, you've been warned...
