I have been here a little over a year and I really love it. This is my first apartment away from home and everyone that works here makes it a lot easier to be away from my parents. When I moved in I got to pick my paint color and they even gave me a paint chip to pick out my new furniture to match. The office staff call me to remind me about upcoming events and the maintenance guys always say hi to me and check to make sure everything in my apartment is working fine. The only thing I don't love is that since we are close to Roswell Rd. it can be sort of noisy at night since the Sandy Springs Fire Department is about five minutes from here. On the other hand, I guess that is good in case of an emergency. So far, I have gotten a chance to know a lot of my neighbors and in the summer they invited me to their family barbeques. Last weekend, the office hosted an album release party for some musicians that live here. I wasn't going to go because I'm not so much into live music, but I stopped by with my friends before going out and we ended up staying. Oh yeah, there are a lot of dogs here, which is ok, but not everyone picks up after their pet, which is annoying. All in all, I really love it and would recommend Avistele at Andalusia.

You know you live a great apartment complex and are realy cool with the staff when you can go under the cabinets and replace the sugar for the complimentary coffee offered at the Community Center. The staff encourages entrepreneurs of the community to post their businesses for the other residents of the community can use these services. This is the first apartment complex that I have been a part of tha insists on helping the members of its community succeed.

Kudos,Kudos!
It's about time. somewhere between the 25th & 26th of February, property mgr Pamela Hampton of Avistele at Andalusia was FIRED by corporate. It was very fustrating to watch how almost half of the community was filled by her family and friends which more seemed like a vacation spot for them. Corporate should have questioned or became suspicious a very long time ago. It was very obvious that her sisters and brother was on drugs, some even say one of the sisters had to go to rehab. The family was known for entertaining themselves with beer and smoking mariquana which was a discrace while the property mgr act as if she was better than the people that paid the rent. There wasn't that much Downey Softner to kill the smell of the mariquana as you drive out the exit gate to cover the smell when her son smoke, and sometimes public places on the property. The maintenance was always talking to the mexican teenage girls and laughing as they walked by which was very appauling especially if I had a daughter that age. After speaking to other residents I also became concerned how the property manager mom was staying in a penthouse which market rent was about or over 2000.00 and she is clearly over 60. Bull crap! I'd say if corporate read this they clearly made a very wise decision that was long over due. It would be best for corporate to actually fire the whole staff and start all over. To have a property manager that has a hefty rumored pass of using cocaine and family members that also was on drugs in this high priced property, make members like myself wonder did I move into a drug infested managed property like the movie New Jack City. I feel ripped off and if anyone else feel the same way, they need to call corporate because they were clearly unaware of the activities of the descetion of mgmnt and what's worse to not feel welcomed when you go into the leasing office or better yet to ask if you can get something faxed...I'd say Lavonia, Amy and Anne and that finance mgr should all be on the ban wagon along with a new maintenance team. It was utterly ridiculous the family and other tenants was going around with a petition to save the property manager job. People were evicted and allowed to come back and in some cases were staying rent free. Who actually paid for that? The members who always get a bogus letter every other month about fees that comes from out the sky or should we say the property managers head to keep her lavish and drug related lifestyle and family and friends rent paid. I hope corporate really see that with her gone and hopefully getting new people in and trust not to take advantage, and can really make a difference in this place. I d say It's time for a change!

Yet another update for you! I see that the original post was back in December of 2008. I wonder if that person still feels the same about this place now, as they did then. However, since the original post and even the last update, the entire management office has turned over and RPG has filled it with bumbling morons. There is no more wine down events. No poop bags for dog owners to pick up the dog poop with. Maintenance men are argumentive and careless in your home. And worst of all, the office manager, Sabena, could care less about what YOUR issues are or about fixing problems. If I could, I would leave. When it comes time for renewal, you can kiss my ass good bye. This place is terrible.
