The Post name came very highly recommended to me. The price was reasonable, the floor plan was open and spacious, and the staff was friendly...all was great until I moved in. Two days after moving into my apartment, I reported squeaky, poppy floor joists from the apartment above me. For two and a half months, I got NO sleep becasue of the problem. When sub-contractors finally showed up, I was left with black ladder marks and white ceiling paint all over my beige walls. It took a week, but the white paint portion of the problem was touched up. It took FOUR months for the staff to do something about the ladder marks...they gave me the wrong color batch paint for my BOYFRIEND to complete the touch-ups. I continued to have noise problems with my upstairs nieghbors. I called the office staff regularly to complain and they assured me they were going to take care of the matter. When making the decision to re-sign my lease, I went to the property manager with the noise problems...I was told that noise was considered by the staff to be a part of apartment living. At that instant, I decided that I?d been lied to and played for a fool long enough. Although the landscaping is nice and most small maintainence problems are taken care of promptly, if you are looking for a relaxing atmosphere in a modern, non-termite infested apartment, Post Canyon is not the place for you. In addition, I?m glad that I decided to move, as the summer specials have attracted less desirable neighbors.
