The worst leasing office in Atlanta

I moved into the Post run complex in Oct. of 2003. In Feb of 2005 I moved out because the property had been sold many months prior. The staff in the leasing office is the most uninterested, uncaring, and unable to solve anything. I still have not received my move in deposits back, even though the apt was spotless. They continue to put me off, and put me off. There is a giant queer named JJ who has the rudest worst customer service I have ever encountered. He acts as though everything is a massive inconvience, and I thought he might faint when he actually had to respond to a question. If you owe them a nickle they will hound you to death, but when its thier turn to refund money, they drag thier feet. Even though they have been earning interest on that money from day one. The original lease with post that I signed stated that the deposits would be refunded within 30 days, this place is in breach of that agreement, and you know what they would be doing if I was the one in breach. Hmm..Maybe I should hire a lawyer.

I moved into Barrington Canyon when it was still Post Canyon, and since the property was bought and re-named Barrington Canyon the property has continually gone down hill. When the companies changed, the water bill went up and didn't come down until there were many compaints about the situation. Of course none of the money that we all were overcharged has been refunded. Also, Post did an excellent job of keeping the property landscaped, but I can't say the same for the current owners and mangement. One more point that I would like to make is that the property used to be a nice and quiet place to live, and that is definitely not the case now. Barrington Canyon has turned into a loud music playing, car racing, stop sign running ghetto. The quality of occupants has significantly decreased and it seems as though they let just anyone have an apartment. All the management cares about is how many apartments are rented, not about the quality of life that the occupants may have here. It is funny how the property has continued to have more and more negative qualities, but yet my rent sure did get increased when I renewed right after the property became Barrington Canyon. I will certainly not be renewing my lease and I would greatly discourage anyone from moving into this property. Also from the first response to the initial posting which states, "YOU NEED TO GET A LIFE AND GROW UP AND NOT ACT LIKE A DUM @#3QUEEN YURSELF", it sounds as though the respondent was actually JJ from the office management, and I'm sure that the Barrington Canyon parent company would not be very happy with the current status of the property nor the attitude of the current office staff. |
