This Saturday I visited the property and I must say I was impressed! The grounds are gorgeous! The pool, sparkling clean. Tennis Court, nice and clean. Fitness center, not the largest but a good size with plenty of equipment but not too crowded, with a TV. The grounds, neat not trashy, nicely landscaped. So the Exterior is good (at least what I saw). The model is nice also (but aren't they all!). Walk in, nice hardwood floor (pretty color wood) I don;t like how in the one bedroom there is no hallway to the bedroom you just go straight to the bedroom but I can deal. The only thing that I HATE about these apartments is the old, outdated stove and dishwasher. Maybe I'm just being picky, bu I think it brings the overall look of the apartment down. The leasing agent says they are slowly but surely updating the apartments. My husband and I have narrowed the search down to this one and I wish I could get a little insight into the place before we make our final decision.
Here's what I want to know:
1. What is the neighborhood mostly comprised of' Alot of young rowdy high school kids, families, college students, 30 somethings, professionals, etc. Is noise a huge problem'
2. Is there a particular building or part of the complex that I should steer clear of (rowdy neighbors, trashy, loud music, etc.)
3. Which side of the apartments have upgraded kitchens'
4. Is parking a big problem' Assigned spaces'
5. What are the average H20, power, gas (if applicable) for a one bedroom (in particular 680 square ft.)
6. Are the Washer & dryers always broken or is that an occasional, once in a blue moon problem'
7.In the One bedroom 680 sq. ft., is there enough room to put a 4 pce dining room table and a desk/office area'
OK thats it! Any advice would be helpful. I
Thanks

I've lived in a one bedroom here for the last 2 years. 1. Young people (20s) who work in Atlanta, many older people, some immigrant families. 2. I live towards the front and it's usually quiet. The back buildings may be louder, but I don't hear anything. 3.Ask management 4. Not at all, tons of parking 5.Water about $25, electricity about $40, gas about $90 this winter, about $20 the rest of the year. 6. They've been broken for a few weeks, supposed to be fixed soon. The laundry center at the back works fine. 7. I don't know, I'm in the 555 ft one |
