Wow...so I recently moved to Atlanta from Chicago...I found Barrington Canyon apartments though pro-move.com. If I had come to this site before I moved here I may not have rented at Barrington Canyon; however, honestly my experience here has been quite good. I completed my paper work online...my leasing agent was very prompt with replying to my e-mails. She even stayed up late to greet my fiance and I at our apartment around midnight. My apartment was very clean when I moved in and the perfect size for the two of us and our dog (we have a one bedroom). There is a little stream that runs along the entrance to the complex that is quite pretty and gives the place a nice feeling. I love the swimming pools. I am excited for the summer. I am in an interracial relationship and was happy to find somewhere in the south where we could be comfortable. I have always felt safe here, although I am very careful (I carry a knife and don't walk alone at night) because I moved from Chicago and am intelligent enough to not put myself in a bad situation. I also have found Atlanta to be very affordable when compared to other cities. I do suggest that anyone moving here have a car because the public transportation in Atlanta is horriable...but maybe Chicago just spoiled me...

very useful, thanks. I do care about safety and there were postings saying druggies, thefts.... which really scared me. I now reconsider to view Barrington Canyon after reading your posting.
