Ok, so these reviews are always so creepy to read. Who wants to hear about rocah/insect infestation, drugs, crime, prostituition, etc when moving into their new place' I certainly dont but it seems as if the majority of the postings with ANY apartment all draw the same conclusion; Every apartment in atlanta and the surrounding areas are roach, crime and drug infested. I mean, come on, they ALL cant be that bad! So, in saying that, can a REAL resident of Barrington Canyon ( who wasnt evicted) offer me some info into what its REALLY like residing there' Thanks

I am a real resident and havent been evicted. I have seen no evidence of crime, drugs or prostitution. There were a few car beak ins about a year ago when I first moved in but nothing that I know about since then. I hate roaches and couldnt live here if they were in my apartment. Certain times of the year we see alot of those big black roaches on the porch but very rarely do they find their way inside. Also, if you request it, the office will have pest control spray your apartment every Friday. Its not perfect here but I like it alot. Hope this helps.

its a good apartment complex
the managment staff is very good and they are some very nice people like the above who gave an honest review in this complex. there are a few questionable people who live here that play loud music and hoot their horn for no apparent reason . Noise is also an issue, try getting an upper floor or top floor if possible. Most apts in atlanta have the same issues circulating in their nervous system,

When are you planning to move? I am a single female and I like the units near the front of the complex and I most definately would get on the top floor and it isn't an extras charge. Very diverse crowd and 99% of the residents are respectful of neighbors and take care of the community. May I suggest looking into PROMOVE-ask for John Parramore..he is the most knowledgeable and has been there for years. Knows EVERY apartment inside and out..Tell him your price range, location you prefer, and what you are looking for in a new apt and those guys will give you a list of 6-10 places and tell you "honestly" which one's they would choose to live in..No cost to you and it is definately worth your time to call..404-252-2520(i think--promove on roswell road..good luck!

I am a current resident. I have never been late with rent or had to battle it out with the staff. The Point at canyon ridge (Barrington Canyon) is a C level apartment. I know for sure there is some drug activity but its not something you would notice right off. It is possible to live here and never see it, I know because I heard a rumor and just paid attention. If you think this is what you want check the crime stats with the Sandy Springs Police, they can tell you for sure. I have never had roaches or rats, no gun shots, no horrible staff, never a break in (for me), but you can do better.
