cool lofts, rude people From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 3/24/2006 Years at this apartment: 2005 - 2006   i've lived here several months and think the old school itself is cool and unique. its also fun living in such a historic place. BUT, it's a drag that the manager is so elitist when you deal with her. she seems like she's from up north somewhere. i heard a couple of older guys the other day that i know have been here for years talk about how nice and polite the old managers used to be. oh well, maybe she's not happy down here in the south' also, rent is WAY too high for what you get, unless you have a trust fund. windows are very drafty, and with all the dogs that live here, the barking can drive you nuts, not to mention the drunk, LOUD and obnoxious tourists in the streets at all hours. there are too often homeless people on the steps when you walk out front to L5P, just wave and say no. the maintenance crew however, is very nice and friendly and always fix things promptly. most of the residents i have met are very friendly with exception to a few really rude people. what's up with that''
