Bennington Towers

Cons:
There has been a homicide in the back parking lot, and theft in the front parking lot from cars, despite so called "security".
The night security staff is a joke. They are consistently away from the desk.
"X" is the most annoying person I've met in the metro Atlanta area, and she happens to have found a job there, somehow. I get some kind a reaction whenever I see her, or am stuck in the elevator with her, because she somehow comes up with the stupidest thing to say, and says it in the loudest, shrillest voice you can ever imagine.
The concierges are nice, much nicer than the leasing staff. Pool table is very old, in need of maintenance, cue sticks are always broken.
Gym is dinky, very old equipment!
Parking is a nightmare. There is 0 towing, and I've seen cars parked here for weeks by people that don't live here.
The building is not secure because the backdoor is generally propped open, whenever someone moves in.
Elevators are a disaster. If you're up on the 10th floor, and are trying to make an appointment half an hour from now, leave the apartment ONE HOUR before because getting on the elevators takes a good 30 minutes. I'm just exaggerating, it takes only 10. Numerous residents have complained about them, but nothing has been done.

That "homocide in the back parking lot" wasn't even someone that lived here. It was an unfortunate incident that happened YEARS ago. HELLO! You DO live in the middle of the city. Crime is going to happen. OSayko is the nightstaff and he is always there. The club room is outstanding, the pool table is in fine condition (I was downstairs using the computer yesterday, in fact. It's not in dire need of repair). Theft from the front parking lot-as far as that is concerned, don't leave your belongings out! If you are a resident, then you should be using the gated, secure covered lot-not the guest parking lot! When people are moving in, the back door is open, but there is a camera right there under the watchful eye of the concierge. I think it speaks volumes that the same people have been working there for the entire time I have lived there. I have enjoyed it immensely. I will miss Bennington when I move as I am buying a new place. The longest I have ever waited on an elevator is five minutes. Give me a break-I have never been late to work, an appointment or anything for that matter. The drama queen that I am responding needs to check his/her watch before exaggerating the wait time to that of a sitcom. |

How can you casually rationalize a homocide? "You do live in the middle of the city." So, murder is just something to be expected? As long as it wasn't somebody who lives here, it can be dismissed? I think Tony Soprano wrote the above reply.
