If you are too naive to figure it out for yourself, several false reviews have been posted on this site by management. It is tolerated by the owners of this site. The previous review is the antithesis and polar oppposite of what Dewberry Glen is. Accurate and fair reflections of what goes on here should be presented, not Dewberry dishonest garbage. Even the words used in the previous review, as an example, are the type that property managers use in their promotional pitch and BS.

Aside from not knowing how to write a proper review and type in lower caps by shouting at people with all caps (they just learned how to type and dont know how to release the caps button; its too hard for backaward people to figure out), they are deceivers and kings of disinformation. Liars and deceivers have no place on here.

My roommate and me have been here for over 3 years, one of us for slightly longer than the other. We have seen this complex turn into a
community operated by new dark management. The same awful owner still controls the property, but the manager is now dramatically different from the people who were here in 2001 and 2002. Darkness is not too course a word to describe her, or her operation of Dewberry Glen and Dewberry Isle.

She is a mean, truly vicous person who is not remotely interested in the well being of the tenants. This isnt just a bad person. She is off the chart, literally as bad as a person in an apartment complex can seemingly be. The management here breaks the rules, violates laws, and cuts corners every way they can. They more importantly violate their own leases, go back on their word and legal contractual agreements, and threaten, harass, and attempt to intimidate tenants. They are unorganized, incompetent, shockingly dishonest and arrogant, and have no place in any business that deals with people, let alone running a property complex.

The manager that runs Dewberry Glen is literally a cruel, vicious, mean spirited, out of control pathological liar, who is, so help us, a danger and insult to the safety, peace, mental health, and the daily life of her tenants. The owner is of the same ilk and is universally despised by most of his previous employees. This one is one of the few who puts up with him, because they are a match made in heaven.

My roomate has a dog and this is the only reason we moved in here, mainly because the pet deposit was less than some other places. It was a massive lapse in judgment. The old management under Dewberry was decent if not perfect, until darkness took over this complex.

Please understand that there is censorship that exists on this site, so please be fully aware that other reviews critical of Dewberry have been removed. These were reviews with no curse words, that were NOT written by us, but fellow tenants that told us they wrote them and they were taken off the site. That is not what should take place and the truth should be told. Instead, completely false, all caps reviews, that are total unbelievable misrepresentations of the true picture of this place are pressented.

Darkness is a word, and a true, honest descriptor of what exists here. It is true that some people have never had any communication with these people, or issues come up. One of course never knows till those things do arise. These people who could not care less about the dark, bizarre, cruel and out of control behavior of the management, are the same people that never care until it happens to them. Thus, they deserve no sympathy or compassion when it does. MANY people have moved out of here due to the manager. It has been a long steady stream in both Dewberry Glen and Dewberry Isle who have had dealings with her.

There is always a steady stream of new naive, uninformed people to prey on so this is how she, and the owner Johnathan Dewberry get away with their behavior. Also, most apartment locators could not care less, as long as they receive their cash so they send people here.

You should feel blessed that people care enough about helping you to advise you of the truth. This reviewe isnt meant to take these people down a mark in any undeserving way. They are worse than what is described here. You are being spared the details of what we have gone through. This is solely to save other people from the hell that this management is. You see, it is the only way to make a difference, however small that difference may be.

In Jesus's name, what is enclosed here is the truth, and the manager of Dewberry is unimaginably horrific, and I for one have never come across apartment people like this in my life. My roomate is getting married and thank God we will both be moving soon. I plan to move in with a good fine property company that is run by human beings who most of all have a soul, and are capable, fair, interested, compassionate, empathetic, honest, kind, decent, skilled, businesslike people who care about others and know how to run an ethical, moral, proper business. This is a terrible place run by truly terrible people, who are terribly mean to boot. The buildings are ok, nothing special, nothing awful, and there are nice dogs for your dog to play with, but if you move here, you deserve anything that happens to you, and everything you get.

Lots of criminal activity has occurred on this street and in this immediate area including several armed robberies (yes, at gunpoint) and other major problems. (rapes, home invasions, etc) If you stay on Glenridge or on Roswell, keep your eyes open. I hope to move to Midtown soon, and dont shed a tear for anyone who puts their lives or daily feelings in these people's hands. Life is about choices, and we made a devastatingly bad one here. My roomate doesnt despise them quite as much as me, but will go into a whole separate review as to personal experiences of a somewhat similar nature. If it wasnt for the dog and difficult $600 deposits elsewhere, we would have been gone long ago. They are too terrible to stay any longer.

Stay far away from anything with the Dewberry Corporation name if you have half a brain or arent a masochist. Spend the extra $30-$50 unless you dont think you or your life are worth it, or dont mind living under dark spirited, abusive, horrific management.
