I currently live at Berkeley Trace in a top floor apartment, and have had no problems what so ever. One person on here is upset because his neighbor had a charcoal grill on his patio!! What's this issue if the guy was not barbecuing' & another person complained because the office wouldn't watch their neighbors daughter when she got locked out. The office was correct....they are not a daycare center, that's not their job!!! If you were so concerned why didn't you keep her until her mom got home geesh!!

It seems like all the complaints on here are just from people expecting perfection, & with their noses stuck up in the air. This is an apt complex. NOTHING is going to be perfect. If you're so unsatisfied move out & buy a house. Until then, let us people that actually like living here in peace and quiet enjoy it. The complex is not ghetto at all & you could be living in a twice as worse place. Think about it, it could be a crime ridden complex like a lot of places in Atlanta...that's when you could complain!!! For all who are reading this, don't let the negative reviews fool you. It's a pretty nice place to live. (We obviously just have some stuck up neighbors that I didn't know about, thank goodness I don't know them)

I am the one who complained about the grill because a coworker of mine lost everything in an apartment fire that was started by the smoldering ashes of a charcoal grill on the patio of an apartment in the same building. Georgia State law forbids grills on patios of apartments for the very reason that they are a fire hazard. Of course, no apartment will be PERFECT. But the one I moved to (Post Brookhaven) is MUCH MUCH better. I was unsatisfied at Berkeley, but since I didn't want the long-term commitment of buying a house, I simply moved into a better apartment. I'm glad that you're so happy with Berkeley Trace. I thoroughly enjoyed it when I lived there the first time around (when it was Dewberry Glen). But when I moved back to it after it had changed to Berkeley Trace (I moved back because my first experience there had been so great) I had a completely opposite experience. As I said though, I'm glad you're so content with it. If you're going to post a review, it would probably be more effective to simply limit it to the positive content rather turning it into a caustic tirade attacking other people's reviews and then attacking them personally. PS - why are you posting anonymously? You called me a coward in my review of the apartment because I didn't get out of bed in the middle of the night and go to a group of people I don't know and ask them to shut up, but you can't even afford showing your username for your review/harassment posts? Strange...

^^^^^^I am very happy that you LOVE Post Brookhaven, & I did not attack you I just pointed out the fact that this is an apt complex & nothing is PERFECT. ANY complex you live in you're going to have some kind of an issue no matter how small, thats a given. I cannot relate to your bad experience here, because it is totally opposite of yours. If I have an issue it is taken care of within 24 hrs. It's really nice here to me & all of my neighbors are friendly. If you weren't happy for any reason, then yes it was a good idea for you to move. Nothing wrong with that. I never told you to shut up & never called you a coward. If you took it that way well thats on you, you're being too sensitive. I have friends that live in Post Brookhaven & I considered moving there, but I got a better deal at Berkeley Trace in one of the upgraded apts. & it's less than 2 miles from my job. I can walk to work. :) I'm happy here at Berkeley Trace & you're happy at Post Brookhaven...we're both in places we like very much, & thats a good thing.
