The stairwells are gross, but most people take the elevators so you don't notice. It's an old place that's been renovate so the ventilation s very old. I have been able to smell when my neighbors smoke ( through the walls/ventilation system since I am one of the few apts w/out a balcony). I complainted ealy on and all they said they could do was give me a perfumed filter. I talked to an AC expert and he said when in older building the walls aren't well sealed etc.
That is one issue. the silver fish are everywhere. I think that again since it is old there are leaks through out the apt and these bigs just materialize. I have to ask for extermination weekly.
Finally, the windows leak at every rain. These are probems maintenance has supposedly fixed with new windows but to no avail. OTherwise, it's cool, there's a dog park behind the complex and a beautiful pool. Make sure you splurge for the undercover parking b/c otherwise it's pretty hard to find.
Probably more secure than communities with gates (it has call boxes to get inside of the buildings) but b/c it's a maze inside. I almost always have to go get my friends.
