I moved into the community when I first moved to the area, and I must admit, they have a great location. Everything from there on out was AWFUL. The manager Brandee Andrews is completely incompetent and ridiculous. Her staff is even worse. I've never met anyone as rude as LaShella Glover. I would not reccomend this place to my worst enemy. The halls are dirty, the elevators smell of animal excrement, the other residents allow their animals to defocate and urinate anywhere and everywhere without cleaning it up. I lived in the 1000 building where there is a small reflecting pool. It quickly became known as the cess pool because they never clean it out and it just festers with filth. Cigarette butts are everywhere you look outside. It's just plain disgusting. On top of all of that, the other residents are rude and inconsiderate. They blast music at all hours of the night, and the "courtesy officer" NEVER responds. I can't tell you how many complaints I lodged and NOTHING was done. The only good thing about the place was the price in the location, but that was not enough to keep me from moving as quickly as I could. Try a Post or the other property that used to be Windsor. Trust me - you don't want to live at the Standard - it's SUBstandard at best.
