This place is pathetic. The air conditioner in my apartment did not work correctly for the two years I lived there. When I would complain about it (constantly), their excuse was that I was on the 3rd floor, and heat rises. It would get up to 80 in my apartment, even thought the thermostat was on 68. The apartment is like a frat house. The residents would party a 3 in the morning on weeknights, and there is no place to park. I would see rats in the courtyard. I was sleeping one time, and felt something scurry across me. Turned the lights on, and it was a rat. I cussed the non-caring management out, and they told me I must have left my door open (I didn't), and that there were crumbs on my stove (there weren't). I told them that even if I had piles of cheese laying throughout the apartment, that it was no excuse. I asked the maintenence crew to not lay down poison, because I had dogs, and did not want a rat to climb into one of my couches and die. For two months I shared an apartment with the rat. I had to buy traps myself. Eventually they did lay out poison, without me knowing, and I had a horrible smell coming from the kitchen closet. At first glance I didn't see anything; then I got a flashlight, and saw a tail hanging out of the wall. The rat had climbed under the wall and died. I had to get pliers, grab the tail, and pull the maggot infested rat out of my wall. There is a reason why all the one bedroom apartments in Lenox Park go for $1,200 , and you can get a one room apartment there for around $800. Bad management, dog sheeyot everywhere, bad maintenence crew, horrible neighbors, horrible parking, and rats. If you move there, you need to have your head examined. Don't beleive the hype.
