Block Lofts

 

The apartments are less than a year old and I've been here about six months.

The Leasing Manager was incredibly patient when I was 'shopping around' for apartments.

It was easy to settle on Block because of the location, clean appearance, floor plans, amenities and huge dog-walk area.

The staff pays attention to so much detail from spotless common areas to great landscaping.

They even do door-to-door trash pickup twice a week.

They organize meet-your-neighbor social events and the lounge/grill/pool areas are primo.

When you're lounging at the pool, the staff comes around with popsickles for everyone.

Who does that' I'm serious! It's like I'm living in Stepford and I keep expecting someone to take off their face revealing they're a robot.

My apartment is quiet with very little noise from outside or my neighbors.

Almost without exception, the residents I've met have been as nice as candy-stripers.

The things I'd change are larger trashcans by the mailboxes (the current ones overflow from junkmail) and more friendly communication of rules and violation notices.

A couple of folks have gotten harshly worded warnings for little violations and I got a nastygram from Block for a late utility payment that was caused by the water company's mixup.

Nothing earth shattering, just a little too militaristic for first offenders.

In summary, great location, incredible views, the best amenties I've found, secure, fun and clean.
