Welcome to the Block Lofts, once a quiet little gem in the Highlands/Inman Park area.
For a while, this was an ideal place to live.
Then the management changed, and for one reason or another, the place has been taken over by horny college kids and mid-30s drunks.
This place is great if you like to watch people have sex in the pool at 4a.m.! If they are not having sex, they are having cannonball contests with complete disregard for the 30 or so neighboring apartments full of responsible residents.
What could be a great place to live is being ruined by a bunch of drunken kids with the capability (drug use) of staying up so late on a weeknight, that making tons of noise at the pool seems like a great idea! Did I mention this behavior is always on a weeknight.
Five times in the last two weeks has gotten to be ridiculous.
So, to sum things up, if you like watching intoxicated morons having unprotected sex in your pool, from the comfort of your own home....the Block Lofts is the place to be!!!

How do you know they are having unprotected sex? You must be watching a little too closely for some unknown reason. Have you ever thought to pick up your phone and call the police? I live here and I know the pool can get a little wild. But, it is locked after hours. I don't think its the management's responsibility to babysit all of the drunken residents every night. I know that certain background checks are done all on residents before they move in because they did one on me. I also know since I have worked in this industry in the past that its illegal to discriminate against who you rent to. Welcome to intown apartment living. If you don't like it, there are plenty of homes you can buy way out in the suburbs. I am sure its quiet out there and you will never run into a drunken neighbor!
