The management staff is rude, rude, lackadaisical, rude, lazy, and rude.
They blow you off by telling you that they will call you back and then don't.
They are sarcastic and unresponsive when you go to them with concerns.
I have been brushed off, ignored, and even hung up on.
I have even contacted the corporate office with issues unresolved by the leasing office, only to receive an email from the leasing manager that was full of excuses for their terrible attitudes and customer service.
They put forth the least effort that they can in order to squeak by and keep their jobs; which they CLEARLY hate.
This culture of bad customer service apparently trickles down from the top of their corporate ladder.
Terrible staff aside; There are apartment break ins monthly.
My car has been broken into twice; while parked in the parking garage.
The front gate is broken and inoperable often.
There are empty beer cans and bottles strewn around the property and parking garage every weekend.
The dumpsters (3 of them) that surround the complex are often overflowing and disgusting; I've even encountered rats while walking my dog.
If I wanted to live in trailer park, I would and not have to pay the rent that they charge here.
These problems have been escalating since I first moved here.
I have stuck it out for three years, but that is it for me.
It was very nice when RAM managed the complex, but Gables has transformed this place to nothing less than something ghetto-not-so-fabulous.

ALSO: The fence that surrounds the property has been purposely cut in spots, torn down, in other spots, and backed over by a moving truck. It is very easy for any homeless person or skateboarder (both groups hang out in the vacant lot next door)to just come on in through one of the many holes in the fence. I'm not sure why Block Lofts doesn't fix it; it's been like this for MONTHS. I'm surprised more cars aren't broken into and that more motorcycles aren't stolen.
