It's seems like all the people leaving positive feedback work for the apts.
here's an honest opinion from someone who just moved in.
I've lived here for about a month and have no complaints.
I searched a bunch of apartments for a bout 3 months in the downtown atlanta area.
This place is one of the most expensive for the small size of the one bedrooms but I liked way felt when I walked in.
It felt like home to me.
but to each his own.
I read the feed back of a lot folks on here before I moved in and it sounded like all the things folks were complaining about were to be expected when renting in a downtown apartment of the major city.
So far so good.
Here's what I like about the place.
It's right off freedom trail and I love to run so that was a big plus for me.
Their fitness is small but sufficient and barely used when i go but that usually early in the morning or late at night.
They have two places for me to go and study when I can't concentrated at home.
A business center and lounge.
The Location is perfect.
Here what I don't like.
The walls are kinda thin but that's to be expected in a rental.
My neighbors are really quite so I don't have a problem, So that kinda puts a damper on things when I think my neighbors are home.
And because I'm downtown I'm always worried about my stuff getting stolen.
so Igot renters insurance it's little less than 200 for the year.
Finally, I wish folks were a little bit more friendly.
I grew up in the south and have travelled extensively through out the world.
Coming back to south I was looking forward to the southern hospitally but you wont find much of that here.
No body's mean or anything but it's just not the same friendliness and smiles that I'm used to.
Nevertheless if you want a nice place to rent this place is good.
Basically you're going to deal with the same problem anywhere downtown atlanta.
If you can't take it try buying a place.
That's what I'm going to do when I finish school.

Who ever you are..thanks for the honest opinion! Its funny how residents that have a problem,or those who so badly wants to live here, but can't afford it have something bad to say. There are residents who genuinely love being here. You made a good point about living in the city. The Blocklofts has spent a lot of money into camera systems and other methods to keep our residents safe. You wil be surprised st how many complexes don't want to spend the money or waste the time. The economy is bad and even homeowners are getting robbed. We've had residents that moved out months ago because of a break in, and got broken into again at their new place! I just hate when people blame it on the Block Lofts! Anyway,I just want to say thanks for your comments. It can't be too bad here because residents are referring their friends and family left and right. I encourage anyone to say good things when the credit is do. Thanks for the referrals. I'm sorry you're not getting the friendly smiles you deserve. Here's a smile.:)
