Good location but would not recommend

This apartment is located in a pretty convenient area near to North Druid Hills Rd. There is a Target across the street and it is not far from the Toco Hills shopping area. I would also say that the area is okay for walking your dog or jogging, though one of my coworkers who lives in the area said that there were a lot of break-ins in years past.

The complex is gated, however when I lived there the gates were often broken. This usually occurred on the weekends. There is outdoor parking and a small indoor garage. You have to request and be assigned an indoor spot if you want one.

You will find that there are many dog owners and unfortunately many do not pick up after their dogs. There's really not a lot of common space with grass to even walk a dog.

I lived on the second floor of one of the buildings. The apartment was small and rather dark. The cabinets were dated and the carpet was not not new.

I had a very strange neighbor who lived above me. The person would vacuum every day, usually at unusual hours. This person would sometimes vacuum between 4-6 am. In addition, the person had a dog which would often spend the night barking. This apartment faced the pool. On weekends, if people were being noisy at the pool late at night, this man would come out on his balcony to scream at the people at the pool. Needless to say, it was a pretty noisy place to live. My upstairs neighbor would also pour buckets of water off the balcony presumably to water his plants. Complaints to both him and management never resolved the problems.

The management/complex owners turned over once while I lived there, after signing my second lease. The new management is pretty awful. I will say that they have tried to plan activities and parties to make the place more hospitable. However, they were very lax about complaints. Upon moving out, I cleaned my apartment and vacuumed twice, but they still charged me carpet damage fees. Judging by a prior review, charging damage fees is a scam they perpetrate regularly.

It's not an awful place to live, but due to the quality of the management I would not recommend this apartment complex.
