My husband and I took over my parents lease here so I could continue running his lawfirm from home. We signed our lease November 01. 06 Everything seemed to be going as promised until the middle of December we recieved a Dispossary warrent. The warrent served by the sherrifs department stated that we did not pay the rent for November. Mind you, we signed our lease then so why would they let us sign a lease without paying the first months rent. We finally got that straightend out. While my parents were renting the apartment the refrigerator was broken for the 4 out of the 6 months they were here. Also the people upstairs had a water leak and it created mold in our roof. The plumber comes 2 weeks after the initial complaint and spends all day in the apartment and cuts a big hole in our roof. It was covered with cardboard and has yet to be fixed one year later. They refused to accept our rent as of May 01. 07 because someone who rented the apartment before had an outstanding 400 dollar gas bill due and they expected us to pay them. We were served with our second eviction notice. I was pregnant at the time sO I had to have my father whom is an attorney threaten with lawsuits. IT IS ILLEGAL TO CHARGE SOMEONE FOR A BILL THATS NOT THEIRS. The children in the neighborhood are thieves. On two seperate ocasions I cought them stealing ciggarettes off of my porch. I made several reports to the office about things going missing. NOthing was ever done about them. The office staff is incompitent. They make you feel as though your complaints are not vaild. Its not hard to run a business afterall Im 20 years old and single handedly run a lawfirm and do it well. Stay away
