well I have lived here for 2 years and My friends for 8 years, as many before have stated it is rapidly declining, I do love the location the grounds and the schools are good, and the parking and sound depends on where you are located we are in a trilevel so we have only side neighbors, so the noise wasnt as bad as the flats which are paper thin as previosly stated by reviewers
I as well have the same issue maintanience issues never get solved in a timely fashion ie... if it is not an emergency you may wait for over 6 mos. bugs are becoming a more increasing issue, I wanted to vacate and they cant find my lease, I know it expired one year from when I signed but thier computer shows 3 mos later, I have gone to the office numerous times and they still havent resolved it as well as a previos reviewer stated they called the police officer to escort me out. so I still dont know what is going to happen. obviosly if the res referral is 750 you know they are having poblems.and offering a contest for 1 free year of rent. it is not all bad if you know what to expect I obviously had resigned my lease last year, but this whole situation has really taken the cake

About the least expiring one year from when you signed it. My husband and I signed our current least almost a year ago, and luckily the woman working with us in the front office happen to mention that their leases, even though they call them a year lease, are actually 13 month leases...so maybe this has something to do with the confusion they have going on with you? The bugs were also a problem for us when we first moved in, but after a few week doing the free weekly pest control they offer, we haven't had any problems since. Also, I am not trying to be nosy...but I would like to know what it takes to have them call a police escort out for future problems I may encounter with them?

lmf911, I know it was a while ago.. but could you please tell me what apartment it was that you lived in at that time? It seems apparent that nearly all the apartments have a leaking and maintenance issue. But when I lived at Broadstone the neighbor's water heater above us burst just like yours, and flooded our home. It was incredible how the management acted so blindly toward everything, even stooping as low as saying there is NO record of a flood! I'm hoping that you could pretty well vouch for me in a case where I'm being charged $900 by the apartments for the damage caused by the flood that "never happen." Or anyone for that matter? If you are the one who lived above us Spring 2008, and if you would be kind enough to help me, we could win in the dispute, and prove that the Broadstone management is a bunch of underhanded, sneaky, inconsiderate, swindlers.

no we lived in a trilevel .... but they are under new management now and it is better here we actually moved back... did you put in a maint req when you got leaked on cuz if they sent out pro kleene they would have a record of coming in to do a carpet clean for you or the folks above you
