I have lived at Broadstone for about 8 months now and I have not had any problems. I live on the bottom floor of my building right next to a wooded area and when I had bug problems, management had someone out here withing a couple of days spraying for them. I would really like to commend the maintenance team. My car broke down on the side of the road in the complex and some of the maintenance team stopped and helped me fix it IN THE POURING RAIN. This wasn't some small job like putting gas in the tank either -- we had to feed a new accelerator cable through the engine. I wouldn't have been able to do it without their help. A couple of weeks ago my apartment had a leak, courtesy of the kids upstairs clogging their toilet. Maintenance came out like 30 minutes after the call to check it out. After they fixed it, my roommate was concerned about a small area of the carpet possibly being dirty from toilet water, so management had someone come out here and steam/deep-clean it for us(we did have a problem with the carpet cleaning co. but I don't hold that against the apts). All we had to do was ask. I've met some other tenants and most of them seem nice. I haven't seen any gang-like activity at all, nor have I seen any pit-bulls. The price is really good, the location is nice, and I would recommend living here. The largest downside is that the complex is kind of old, but I do live in an upgraded apartment so it doesn't feel old, and the "mature landscaping" is really pretty during the summer.

I agree with maintenance also, I had a small leak under my kitchen counter, i left a message on the service on saturday and sunday they repaired it. Not many places will you get maintenance on Sunday. It is quite a few "wild" kids (6-12yr) that are out with no supervision, but for the most part, by time its dark its very quiet. Parking lots are well lit. At this point is the gate, almost 8 people can follow you in. I suggest they put the arms back on so that will control some unwanted followers or just take the gate down. It does no justice.
