Gables is a wonderful place. It is clean and very safe. We have not had any problems, and the only complaints that other people have are the train and the price. you get what you pay for. Call the cobb county police department and they can give you the crime analysis unit number and you can call and ask about any reported crimes. Gables Walk is the ONLY apatrment in Vinings taht has not had cars or apartments broken into, drugs, murders, etc. We are very happy with all of the staff, they are overly helpful, and the mainteneance men are very nice. Yes the price is high, but you can'y put a price on safety. And you get used to the train after a week.

Okay, since this has been posted, there have been a couple of instances there. A car has been broken into while fetching their mail (right outside the main entrance). Another car has been hi-jacked - literally forcing the person out of the car... But all-in-all I am still happy to live there. I figure that there is worse crime out there.

Same here, bag stolen from car while getting mail from mailbox, learnt the hard way to lock car even if its 2 minutes.
