I moved into this community in the Summner of 2005. We had a leasing agent that had as much sense as a dead dog. Needless to say, she was fired. We received a significant reduction in our monthly rent before we moved in. Once we got into our apartment, we realized why. The train!! I must admit, you do get used to it, but your company never does. We were blessed to have the most annoying tenants in the whole community living directly under us. They complained for any and everything.We were sitting and relaxing in out dining room quietly. The bathroom mirror completely fell and shattered on the floor one night out of nowhere. I mean into pieces. When maintinance came to clean up the mess (there was no way I was going to risk being cut), he told us that it has happened time and time again. I have a toddler. What if she was in the bathroom at that time' The old staff was not very responsible. Every time I turned around, it seemed as if they lost another important document and need my signature for something else. I suppose this is the reason fot the new management. They suck!!!! This new management is rediculous. They take forever to get to the problem, not very professional and unreliable. In comparisson to many reviews that I have read on this site, Gables is not bad at all. However, the rent is way too high. You may as well being paying mortgage. This is why I do not recommend this property. With diligent searching and researching, I am confident that you will find a decent place to live for a decent price. Keep looking!!
