Yes, Back in 04/04 there was a shooting "NOT AT BROOKWOOD VALLEY" I lived in the apartments next door before they were sold. The man who was shot was shot in the parking lot at the Darlington Apartments. Yes, I remember this very well, "IT WAS MY BIRTHDAY"
When I moved here, YES there "WERE" problems. Plumbing, grounds, office staff, residents. But it all has been cleaned up. There is still an issue with the gates, but they will be corrected very soon. Yes, they need to work on issues with the courtesy officer they have on site, he needs to be more on site when needed by the residents. I have been told this will be addressed. Being charged $20.00 per month to have your garbage picked up at your door was a big problem with me to start with. After thinking about it, it is $1.00 per day. Now I don't want to do without it.....
All you have to do is come take a look for yourself, don't just judge it by the comments that you have read on this site. I am just one resident writting this, but there are residents that have been here for many years. If it was that bad of a place to live they would not have long term residents here. Come by and ask to talk with some of them. I would not mind talking with you. You can't always believe what you read on these sites, come see for yourself. I have alot of great neighbors.......
