I am from Ohio and lived there basically for over 30 years. This is where I settled in Atlanta at and I love this place. Managerment is serious about the property and upkeep. If tenants are not respecting the rules and/or other tenants they are swiftly dealt with (since you can never control who rents next door, you CAN manage who obeys the rules and who gets removed for not). Nice gated community and cool amenities.

4-14-08 Updated: Well I am currently moved out. There were some instances of vandelism as noted by other responses but don't let reading that give you some sense of this place being a dump or this being a "constant" repeat occurance. 1.) The first few incidents were with people who left items like GPS and wallets in unlock doors (fools are born every minute and location does NOT = 100% safety)... so be smart wherever you live. 2.) I can personally vouch for more police cars noticed around the area (2-3 blocks) at night with many cars pulled over than before. 3.) And lastly unlike many places in the area this complex at least did offer garages if available (do your research and 8 times out of 10 they wont.).

All in all it was a nice experience for me. I moved due to just the cost of living in that area and the scene didnt reflect myself (didnt take advantage of the area for the most part to justify my cost of living there). The maintenance staff there is great. And thats just my 2 cents. I can write pros and cons all day long on this thread but at the end of the day if current prices were back to a reasonable period would I live here still ... answer = yes. Crime doesnt ONLY exist in bad neighborhoods .. believe that and you are just non-intelligent enough to get ripped and have that stupid look on your face saying ... but I dont live in a bad city!! A fool and his money are soon parted ..that goes a long way and more so about property than just money. :)
